JOB POSITION: Marketing Assistant  (Part-time to Full-time)

Psyko Steve Presents is looking to hire a Marketing Assistant to report to the Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate for this role is professional and personable, able to multitask effectively (while prioritizing time-sensitive projects), and attentive to large and small details. This is a fast-paced office with a high volume of events. This position is in-office (Downtown Phoenix), primarily during standard business hours with flexible schedule. Pay is based on previous experience. This role includes free tickets to tons of concerts and other perks.

RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to): 

  • Tracking show expenses and compiling for event recaps
  • Assisting in maintaining relationships with advertising partners (radio, print, local blogs, promoters)
  • Creating of email marketing campaigns
  • Executing marketing plans using digital, OOH, and social media channels in addition to grassroots marketing
  • Tracking and monitoring a large volume of social media campaigns
  • Creating and executing ticket giveaways
  • Communicating design needs with graphic artists
  • Writing copy for social media posts 
  • Scheduling organic social media posts on multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok
  • Responding to customer support inquiries via social media channels
  • Assisting marketing manager with other tasks as needed


  • 4-year college degree (or comparable) preferred
  • Prior marketing experience preferred – music industry experience is a plus
  • Must be well organized and efficient
  • Passion for music and live entertainment industry required
  • Proficient in Office applications (Word, Excel, Google Docs & Sheets, etc) – proficiency with other platforms like Gmail, WordPress, ticketing software, etc is a plus
  • Excellent communication, project management and organizational skills, and problem-solving instincts
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Available to work weeknights and weekends as required
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

JOB POSITION: Inhouse Graphic Designer (Part-time to Full-time)

PSP is committed to developing the best new artists. The graphic designer is vital for creating the visual presentation of all marketing materials through print and digital. PSP markets all genres of events and the graphic designer is responsible for creating art that is relevant to each event. The Inhouse Graphic Designer reports primarily to the Marketing Manager, but also to the Owner and/or Talent Buyers as needed.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Creating new art for events and posters 
  • Localizing and manipulating artists supplied assets to fit PSP’s needs
  • Maintaining schedule and prioritizing workflow 
  • Organizing and managing materials for a high volume of unique events simultaneously
  • Communicating regularly with Marketing Manager to coordinate punctual delivery of design materials according to a demanding flow of new events, print orders, and other marketing needs

  • Minimum 2-3 years related work experience
  • Strong graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or other)
  • Proficient in Office applications (Word, Excel, Google Docs ect)
  • Experience in the creation of digital marketing assets
  • Excellent communication, project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage the implementation of simultaneous plans and programs while effectively meeting deadlines
  • Strong passion for live music and particularly the artists we work the most with
  • Experience of working in the live events, the music industry and / or the entertainment industry would be beneficial

JOB POSITION: Seasonal Intern (Part-time)


College Credit with potential to turn into Paid Part-time Position (in addition to all the free shows you can handle)


  •  Developing and publishing social media content
  • Administrative office tasks
  • Assisting at live events
  • Watching tons of great bands live


  • Experience in Google Docs and with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & TikTok (experience in Photoshop is a plus)
  • Availability for 10-20 hours per week (flexible)
  • Reliable transportation (mainly around/near downtown Phoenix)
  • Access to a laptop is a plus
  • Love for music and concerts
  • Familiarity with the artists we promote (www.psykosteve.com & www.therebellounge.com)
