This Wednesday: Dead Meadow

November 7, 2011

DEAD MEADOW are darlings of both the stoner rock and modern psychedelia worlds, they manage to transcend both. Over the last ten years, they’ve reacted to the country’s swelling conservatism with a particularly escapist, surreal, lovely, and deafening sound of their own, and an exponentially growing audience tuning in. On their new album “Old Growth” Dead Meadow have delivered a remarkably clear, powerful and confident recording that should elevate the trio into the pantheon of great guitar bands of our time.

They will be at the Rhythm Room this Wednesday, November 9th. They will be playing with Strangers Family Band and Drainbow.

Watch their video for “That Old Temple” after the break.
