EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: 

ADMINISTRATOR (Full-time)

The Administrator is vital to collecting, organizing, and reporting financial data related to all events produced by Psyko Steve Presents and The Rebel Lounge, both on a micro and a marco level for the organizations. The ideal candidate for this position is professional and personable, well-organized and very detail oriented. 

In addition to gathering and reporting revenue and expense data for both organizations, the Administrator also handles payments and cash flow, collecting and organizing tax documentation and other paperwork for a high volume of events, executing contracts on behalf of the company, working with agencies and artist teams, venue partners, event staff and more. 

The Administrator reports primarily to the General Manager and/or Owner. This position is full time, in office (Downtown Phoenix) during standard business hours, and requires occasional trips to The Rebel Lounge (near the i51 & Indian School). Pay is based on previous experience, and this role includes free tickets to concerts, in addition to other perks. The Administrator also has the ability to work events for Psyko Steve Presents and The Rebel Lounge outside standard business hours in addition to the in-office role.

RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to): 

  • Collecting, inputting, and reporting financial and event data on a per event basis for Psyko Steve Presents and The Rebel Lounge
  • Marking up and executing performance contracts
  • Managing cash flow, sending deposits, paying invoices, etc
  • Managing the flow of contracts, tax documents, event settlements, deposits, and other financial reports
  • Communicating with artist representatives, venues, and staff on a regular basis 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 4-year college degree (or comparable) preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years related work experience
  • Prior office / administrative experience required – music industry experience is preferred, but not required 
  • Strong math skills 
  • Proficient in Gmail and Office applications (Word, Excel, Google Docs & Sheets, etc) or Google Workspace equivalents 
  • Quickbook experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication, project management and organizational skills, and problem-solving instincts

TICKETING MANAGER (Part-time to Full-time)

The Ticketing Manager is crucial to organizing ticketing logistics, building ticket links and updating event listings, as well as communicating with artist teams and venues to prepare for event announcements. The Ticketing Manager also manages the Box Office staff at The Rebel Lounge, and works with the Marketing Department at Psyko Steve Presents on email marketing and other miscellaneous tasks. 

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is professional and personable, able to multitask effectively (while prioritizing time-sensitive projects), and attentive to details both large and small. This is a fast-paced office with a high volume of events.

The Ticketing Manager reports primarily to the General Manager, as well as the Marketing Director. This position is part time to full time (30-40 hours per week), in office (Downtown Phoenix) during standard business hours, and requires occasional work on site at The Rebel Lounge (near the i51 & Indian School) on nights and weekends. Pay is based on previous experience, and this role includes free tickets to concerts, in addition to other perks. The Ticketing Manager also has the ability to work events for Psyko Steve Presents and The Rebel Lounge outside standard business hours in addition to the in-office role.

RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to): 

  • Entering extensive event and deal information into our databases
  • Coordinating ticket counts with venues, and reporting internally as well as to artist representatives 
  • Creating ticket links and maintaining event listings and information on Psyko Steve Presents and The Rebel Lounge websites
  • Communicating with artist representatives, venue staffs, and ticket buyers on a regular basis
  • Maintaining schedule and prioritizing workflow
  • Organizing and managing event details and reporting data for a high volume of unique events simultaneously
  • Managing a team of Box Office staff year round at The Rebel Lounge and for Psyko Steve Presents events at other venues

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-year college degree (or comparable) preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years related work experience
  • Prior box office or music industry experience is preferred, but not required 
  • Strong math skills 
  • Proficient in Gmail and Office applications (Word, Excel, Google Docs & Sheets, etc) or Google Workspace equivalents – proficiency with other platforms like WordPress, ticketing software, etc is a plus
  • Excellent communication, project management and organizational skills, and problem-solving instincts

MARKETING INTERN (Spring)

The Marketing Intern reports to the Marketing Director at Psyko Steve Presents. This role is primarily in office (Downtown Phoenix) during normal business hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Developing and publishing social media content
  • Creating email marketing campaigns for upcoming events
  • Administrative office tasks
  • Assisting at live events
  • Watching tons of great bands live

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in Google Workspace and with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X 
  • Experience with image or video editing software is a plus
  • Availability for 10-20 hours per week (flexible)
  • Reliable transportation (mainly around/near Downtown Phoenix)
  • Access to a laptop is a plus
  • Love for music and concerts
  • Familiarity with artists we promote (psykosteve.com & therebellounge.com)

BOOKING INTERN (Spring)

The Booking Intern reports to the Talent Buyer and Booking Coordinator at Psyko Steve Presents. This role is primarily in office (Downtown Phoenix) during normal business hours. 

COMPENSATION: 

  • College credit

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Researching new acts and working with the booking team to discover developing artists
  • Investigating inquiries from aspiring acts
  • Calendar management 
  • Assisting at live events
  • Watching tons of great bands live

REQUIREMENTS:

Familiarity with artists we promote (psykosteve.com & therebellounge.com)

Experience in Google Workspace and Gmail

Strong communication skills

Availability for 10-20 hours per week (flexible)

Reliable transportation (mainly around/near Downtown Phoenix)

Access to a laptop is a plus
