JOB POSITION: Marketing Assistant (Full-time)

Psyko Steve Presents is looking to hire a Marketing Assistant to report to the Marketing Director. The ideal candidate for this role is professional and personable, able to multitask effectively (while prioritizing time-sensitive projects), and attentive to large and small details. This is a fast-paced office with a high volume of events. This position is in-office (Downtown Phoenix), primarily during standard business hours with flexible schedule. Pay is based on experience. Perks include concert tickets, artist access, and working alongside a passionate, independent music team.

RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to): 

• Execute creative marketing campaigns across digital, social, OOH, and grassroots channels to connect fans with live music.
• Working with venue teams such as The Rebel Lounge, Van Buren, Valley Bar and more to promote PSP shows. 
• Assisting in maintaining relationships with advertising partners (radio, print, local blogs, promoters) for all concerts
• Creating of email marketing campaigns
• Tracking show expenses and compiling for event recaps
• Tracking and monitoring a large volume of social media campaigns
• Creating and executing ticket giveaways
• Communicating design needs with graphic artists
• Writing copy for social media posts 
• Assisting marketing director with other tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4-year college degree (or comparable) preferred
• Prior marketing experience preferred – music industry experience is a plus
• Must be well organized and efficient
• Passion for music and live entertainment industry required
• Proficient in Office applications (Word, Excel, Google Docs & Sheets, etc) – proficiency with other platforms like Gmail, WordPress, ticketing software, etc is a plus
• Excellent communication, project management and organizational skills, and problem-solving instincts
• Strong attention to detail
• Available to work weeknights and weekends as required
• Ability to work well in a team environment

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:

Social Media Content Creator (part-time or full time)

Psyko Steve Presents is hiring a creative and outgoing Social Media Content Creator to help us showcase the concerts and artists we promote — both in Phoenix and across Arizona. You’ll be producing short-form content (TikToks, Reels, YouTube Shorts) that promotes upcoming shows, spotlights local artists, and captures the energy of live music at venues like The Rebel Lounge.

The ideal candidate is comfortable on camera, knows what works on TikTok and Reels, and is deeply passionate about music, local scenes, and the culture around live events. You’ll work closely with our marketing team to bring the Psyko Steve brand to life on social media.

This is a part-time OR potential for full time depending on experience, in-office position based in Downtown Phoenix, and at shows, some weekends. Pay is based on experience. Perks include concert tickets, artist access, and working alongside a passionate, independent music team.

RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):

• Filming and editing short-form videos that promote upcoming Psyko Steve shows
• Appearing on-camera for content like:
  • “Shows This Week” roundups
  • Artist intros & countdowns
  • Behind-the-scenes venue moments
  • Concert recaps & fan interviews
• Pitching video ideas tied to our event calendar and local scene
• Capturing content at select concerts, often in real time
• Editing clips with text, captions, music, and trending effects
• Posting directly to our social accounts (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts)
• Engaging with fans in comments and DMs
• Staying up to date on platform trends and audio
• Working closely with the marketing team to align content with overall strategy
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• On-camera confidence — you’ll be the face of some of our content
• Proven short-form video editing skills (in-app or tools like CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, etc.)
• Awareness of what performs well on TikTok and Instagram Reels
• Strong visual storytelling instincts
• Deep interest in music, concert culture, and local scenes
• Reliable, organized, and self-directed
• Available evenings/weekends as needed to capture live event content
• Familiarity with iPhone filming or similar
• Bonus points for:
  • Experience working in music or nightlife
  • Public content portfolio or social channels
  • Basic photography or graphic design skills
  • Knowledgeable on the specific artists Psyko Steve Presents works with

POSITION: Summer Intern (Part-time 5/19/2025 – 7/11/2025)

COMPENSATION: 

College Credit (and all the free shows you can handle!)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing and publishing social media content
• Administrative office tasks
• Assisting at live events at venues like The Rebel Lounge, Van Buren, Valley Bar and Crescent Ballroom.
• Watching tons of great bands live

 REQUIREMENTS:

• Music Business or Marketing/Communications majors
• Experience in Google Docs and with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & TikTok (experience in Photoshop is a plus)
• Availability for 10-20 hours per week (flexible)
• Reliable transportation (mainly around/near downtown Phoenix)
• Access to a laptop is a plus
• Love for music and concerts
• Familiarity with the artists we promote (www.psykosteve.com & www.therebellounge.com)
• Must be available to work in office
