Coming up: Pinegrove at The Nile Theater 4/4

March 28, 2022

Pinegrove is coming to The Nile Theater next Monday, April 4th!

Formed in Montclair, NJ in 2010, Pinegrove has slowly but surely become a staple in the indie/emo scene. While they stylistically land somewhere between alt-country and emo, the band has avoided putting a label on their sound. Singer-songwriter Evan Hall once described it as “the midpoint between math rock and Americana.”

Known for their dedication to progressive causes, Pinegrove has donated portions of album sales to foundations such as the SPLC, Planned Parenthood, and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

They recently released their fifth album, 11:11, through London-based Rough Trade Records.

A charming and contemplative work, the band sweeps through both internal and external anxieties: climate change, personal failure, and the COVID crisis, among others.

Check out their performance of “Cyclone” on the Late Late Show with James Corden below!

There’s still time to grab your tickets here – but don’t wait!
