Last week I put on the IAMWE CD Release show at Crescent Ballroom. I worked with the greet people at Electric Legend Pictures to make this video spotlighting the band and their show at Crescent. If you have not heard of them it is worth a glance.

I want to thank everyone who came out to see Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls last Friday night at Crescent. It was one of the best shows I have all year!
I have been brining Frank to Phoenix for years, he has always been on of my favorite artists to work with and one of the best to watch. It is so great to see how many people are supporting him now.
After the break is a video I took from my phone of Frank covering “Love Will Fuck Us Apart” by Andrew Jackson Jihad.
Thanks to everyone who came out to the Sold Out show with Dustin Kensrue at the Hard Rock Cafe on Friday. It was a great night!
Special thanks to Dustin for making Phoenix the only city he did a headlining show in, and not the only city not to get a show as sometimes seems to be the case. Dustin (and Thrice) has been one of my favorite musicians for over a decade. I help put on some of the first Thrice show in AZ and it was great to get to work with him on a show again.
Also thanks to Bears Of Manitou, the Cold Desert and everyone at The Hard Rock Cafe (except Bill) for making it such a great show.
Earlier this month The Underground and I hosted a meet up for EIY, a great site helping musicians learn to work for themselves. Sarah from EIY has posted a recap of the event on the EIY site. At the meet up we had a great discusion on what was going well for our little music scene as well as what was wrong with it.
After the meet up was a showcase of some newer local bands playing for a chance to play at the Phoenix date of this years Vans Warped Tour. Reactions, Moovalya, and RadioDriveBy all played. While all the bands played well, EIY and Warped Tour selected Moovalya as the band that will represent Phoenix. Big congratulations to them.

The show was noteworthy because it was the first show with the great Courtney Marie Andrews singing back ups. She also sang on a good portion of their new album Invented. I have had Courtney on many shows and could not be more proud of how great she is doing right now.
Watch a live video I took of the new single My Best Theory at the show after the break.
Congratulations to Dear And The Headlights! Their first show ever in Flagstaff Sold Out last Thursday. They played the neat new(ish) venue The White Dove.
I want to thank everyone who came to THE AFTER PARTY last Friday night at Modified Arts. It was a great success. I had no idea so many people would come to an after hours party.
